Laundry & Ironing Service Terms & Conditions
By placing a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms & Conditions below.

Booking & Confirmation
Bookings can only be made up to 2 days in advance and are subject to confirmation.
We reserve the right to delay collections or deliveries depending on workload and existing bookings.

Payments & Mileage
At the time of booking, clients are required to pay delivery and collection charges only.
The remaining balance is due on drop-off and can be paid by cash or card.
Mileage is calculated from 147 Drakemire Drive, G45 9SA. Any mileage discrepancies will be added to the final bill.
Final pricing may change after inspection if items differ from the booking description.
Services may be withheld if payment is declined or outstanding.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 12 hours before collection receive a full refund of any prepaid delivery or express fees.
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before collection may be charged the full delivery fee.
No-shows are treated as late cancellations and charged accordingly.
Express service fees are non-refundable once service has begun.

Express Service
Express pick-up, wash & dry services can be arranged upon request only.
Clients must contact us before booking to confirm availability.
Express service fees must be paid in advance.

Washing & Drying
All items are washed and dried according to garment care labels and colours are separated.
If care labels are missing or illegible, items are processed entirely at the client’s risk unless written instructions are provided at booking.
Items requiring air-drying may extend turnaround time to 48–72 hours depending on size and fabric.
Standard wash & dry turnaround time is 48 hours.
We are not liable for damage caused by unknown substances, including chemical spills, oils, dyes, fuel, bleach, or unidentified contamination.
Special washing instructions must be provided in writing at the time of booking. Verbal instructions are not binding.

Allergies & Detergents
Wash & dry includes detergent only.
Fabric softener and laundry deodoriser are available at an additional charge.
Clients must declare any allergies or sensitive skin requirements at the time of booking.
Non-allergenic detergent is available on request.

Condition, Safety & Photographic Records
We may photograph items on collection for transparency and record-keeping.
Heavily soiled, contaminated, or bio-hazard items may be refused or charged at an additional rate.

Liability & Wear
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, worn fabric, loose threads, weak seams, fading, shrinkage, colour bleeding caused by unstable dyes, manufacturer defects, damage to embellishments, missing buttons or zips, damage caused by pocket contents, or damage to personal laundry bags or containers.
Stain and odour removal is not guaranteed.

Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to five (5) times the service charge paid for that item, unless a higher value is declared and accepted in writing prior to service.

Rewash / Re-Iron Policy
Rewash or re-iron requests must be made within 24 hours of delivery.
Items must be unworn and unaltered.
Refunds are not provided once reprocessing has been completed.

Missed Access & Uncollected Items
Failed collections or deliveries due to lack of access may incur a re-visit charge.
Items not collected within 14 days may incur storage fees.
Items uncollected after 30 days may be donated or disposed of.

Ironing Terms
Items are ironed according to care labels and may be ironed inside-out to reduce shine and heat damage.
If labels are missing, ironing is carried out at the client’s risk unless written instructions were provided at booking.
We are not liable for heat-related damage including shine marks, bubbling, delamination, damage to linings, seam tapes, glued components, beads, sequins, vinyl, glitter, prints, or embroidery.
Designer, vintage, couture, or high-value garments must be declared at booking.
Maximum liability for ironing services is limited to five (5) times the ironing charge paid per affected item.

Pet Hair Policy
We accept laundry from pet owners and take hygiene seriously.
All machines are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised after every load to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
However, due to the nature of pet hair and dander, we cannot guarantee complete removal and cross-contamination may still occur, even with routine machine cleaning and sanitisation.
By using our service, clients acknowledge and accept the possibility of pet hair transfer and agree that this does not constitute grounds for refunds, rewashes, or disputes.

Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, loss, or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including fire, flood, theft, power failure, extreme weather, illness outbreaks, government restrictions, or supplier shutdowns.
​
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
